What is an Associate Member?

Learn how Program Council can shape your professional future.

Program Council hierarchy

The Program Council is structured with three distinct levels of leadership, each playing a vital role in our organization’s success.

At the pinnacle is the Executive Board, which encompasses key leadership positions such as the President and the Vice Presidents for each department within the Program Council. Each Vice President oversees one of our essential departments—Programming, Finance, Communications, and Human Resources—ensuring that our initiatives are well-coordinated and effectively executed.

The second tier of leadership is the Board, where members have the rewarding opportunity to collaborate closely with a Vice President in their preferred department. Serving as a Board member means acting as a crucial liaison between the Associate members, who form the backbone of our organization, and the Executive Board. This role not only fosters communication but also empowers Board members to influence decisions and contribute to the strategic direction of our events and initiatives.

Finally, we have our Associate Members, the vibrant and enthusiastic general body of the Program Council. As an Associate Member, you will not only gain hands-on experience in orchestrating large-scale campus events but also collaborate with fellow peers who share your passion for creating memorable experiences on campus. This level provides a fantastic opportunity to learn, grow, and bring fun and excitement to our community, all while forging meaningful connections along the way.
